Hi All
Here is my widget customRect (current version 2.0.0) which I like to provide for the resource package for openXTalk
GitHub:
https://github.com/Hoerwi/openXTalk-Widget-CustomRect2
The old version has already been discussed in the LC forum. I want to make the new version available mainly for the oTX project.
best regards
Andreas aka Astu aka Hoerwi
Welcome Andreas!
Excellent, thank you very much for your contribution!
This will make a nice addition to the base set of Widgets.!
There’s also some modifications that I had made to the default widget “SVGIcon” I’d like to include as well, but maybe it’s better to leave the old as-is and make a new thing for OXT, or use stuff from Community members (have to take a look at that “Universal Button Widget”, for example)?
I don’t want to add too much to the base package though, that’s where an OXT package manager will come into play. So we can have things like extra Widgets zipped up and ready to install, from an online Repo that has a descriptions, screenshots, and other metadata for the contents. The model I like is Kodi Addon Repos, but obviously our package manager would use XTALK (and maybe XTCML
) instead of Python (what KODI uses to do that)
Just to confirm, I was having some issues accessing GitHub too. Seems to be good at the moment.
