Why have I always understood A.I. to stand for Artificial Insemination?

When I think AI, I think of Adobe Illustrator, but that's my reprographics background many moons ago.

Frankly 'A.I.' as an acronym is so polysemantic it is next to useless, a bit like 'LiveCode' (try a web search for LiveCode).
Mind you, some people feel a bit . . . after the dropping of the Community version of LC that they financed:
