I just today realized that ScummVM (https://www.scummvm.org/downloads/) the point-n-click type-game engine 'emulator' (interpreter & VM actually) engine, which has been in development since the 1990s and ported to run virtually any device, has been adding support for Macromedia Director Shockwave / Flash since 2016 builds which means it now can interpret the OOP animation-centric xTalk language developed John Henry Thompson (https://www.caribbeannationalweekly.com ... -thompson/) called Lingo. This was the original scripting language used with Macromind (and much later Adobe) Director, before it got more javascript-like with ActionScript (2+).
