I am wondering about Java

Post by richmond62 »

Not very seriously, admittedly, as my software reqs are ALL supplied by LC 963 with the odd hack here and there.

But THIS might be worth a glisk and a poke:

The MOST ATTRACTIVE thing about is is this phrase:

"Like LiveCode but OpenXava is Open Source and far more Powerful."

It looks like the kind of thing you'd use to create helpdesks or a classroom tool you'd use for marking attendance.
(The area manager at work would have wet dreams over this).

Haha, yes - probably due to being from Norfolk.

Oh yeah, I know - just past Downham Market.
I've gone through there a few times, and rented a van from there once. I'm living nearer the coast now, but it can get a bit too touristy at times.
Funny really. I never saw myself as working in a school, but just went where the computers needed to be fixed - and ended up working there full time.
