I wonder why the Windows version will not run on MacOS with WINE . . .

And, as the whole MetaCard IDE has been Open Sourced (interesting verb that), it is 'fair game' and we can use whatever we want from it.

What version of MacOS are you trying to run this on?
Does your MacOS & version of Wine support 32-bit?

Runs here via a 32-bit wine instance:
