Supposedly the drivers for Belkin Nostromo do NOT work with MacOS 10.6 "Dead Leopard", and if you download the driver and attempt to install it it flashes up a warning about it being improperly installed.
HOWEVER, if you IGNORE the warning, finish the install, and hit the RESTART prompt button: after your machine running MacOS 10.6 restarts, the Nostromo stuff is accessible via the System Preferences, allows you to set what used to be called macros; and the thing works.

Currently attached to a 32-bit Intel iMac running MacOS 10.6.8 and working like a charm.

This will return rawKeyCodes to xTalk, but NOT keyCodes.
