Adding to this, I also suppose - how many of those people who raised issues are still using LC now? Probably not a huge amount. I suspect a lot of other people have also moved on.

Aside from the regular contributors 'over there', are there new users still signing up? If someone signed up at the height of LC-user-adoption (whenever that was), reported their issue, to not have it resolved... they probably went away and found something else. They might have even forgotten the fact that they raised the bug in the first place!

I suppose that's also why nobody is going to be rushing to fix any of those now.

I have discovered there is a lot to be said for Temporary Disposable emails.

Roses are red, Violets are blue,
I'm schizophrenic, and so am I.

I am at a loss to know exactly why LC will NOT allow people to repeatedly sign up to download trial versions of their IDE as each new version is released: my in-box always gets thing singing the praises of the 'latest and greatest', but then I am not allowed to download 'the latest and greatest' to take it for a whirl.

After all; someone might buy a licence.

Whatever is said about "continuing support" (by people who have demonstrated time and time again that their word is not worth very much at all), the plain and simple fact is that the LC that OXT is derived from is in the process of being End-of-Lifed, and all that company's efforts (such as they are) are being focussed on getting people to buy and use their new thing.

I would suppose that IFF any existing bugs in LC are transferred to Create they will be addressed (possibly), but not otherwise.

I am unlikely to change the oil on my "55 Ford" if it is going to the crusher next week.

I've paid
I helped Kickstart Livecode
NEXT GENERATION but now I've moved on
OpenXTalk
This is the reason why I left in all of those many names of people who donated to the kick-starter (plus I added the people here) in the 'About' stack for OXT 'Heavy', OXT wouldn't exist if it weren't for all of the people who donated for the goal of having a free open-source xTalk be a reality (same as our main goal here).
