Here's a fun little stack that lets you drive a Fake3D Isometric car around the card window.
There's no runloop timer used, only a keyDown check on idle (there is an idleRate set on opencard)
It simply reacts to arrowKey (Steering) and keyDown (SpaceBar is like a gas pedal, I didn't implement reverse).
Sort of reminds me a little bit of 80s Arcade game 'Destruction Derby' which had sort of isometric sprites IIRC.
Anyway it was just a little experiment, but someone could probably use to build some sort of game.
I was thinking about trying to find a nicer car obj model on the net and using it to remake the car sprite to look a little more realistic and maybe simplify down to 16 directional 'frames' and add a little car engine sound loop to play while moving.
It's kind of fun to steer the car off the visible card area and then try to steer it back into view blind. If you can't get it back then just hit the button to recenter the sprite GIF in the card.
